Janhvi Becomes An Ambassador In ‘Ulajh’ Before ‘Devara’!

Posted : April 20, 2024 at 5:25 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Ravishing lady Janhvi Kapoor arrived in the industry as the daughter of legendary actress Sridevi. She made her debut with a love story like ‘Dhadak’ but preferred female-centric films a lot after that. She did movies like ‘Gunjan Saxena’, ‘Good Luck Jerry’, ‘Mili’ and ‘Roohi’ which had her as the main lead. Despite playing main roles, she is yet to give a strong performance. Also, she is trying hard to get commercial success as well. She acted with stars like Varun Dhawan and did cameos in Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor’s movies.

She has selected another female-centric film titled ‘Ulajh’. The teaser came out recently and it explained the concept of the movie. She plays the role of a woman who works for India as a spy. She doesn’t get the support from Indian government when things take a bad turn. The movie is about how she escapes from the danger on her own. Subhanshu is the director and the theme is quite clear in the teaser.

She is now entering the South with two big pan-Indian projects. She is the heroine in NTR’s ‘Devara’ and Ram Charna’s #RC16 which are being made on a grand scale. Prior to these two big flicks, she wanted to make her mark as a performer in Hindi cinema with ‘Ulajh’. The plot sounds quite similar to Alia Bhatt’s super hit movie ‘Raazi’.

Alia won a lot of praise for her performance and the movie got huge collections too. Alia did a good number of commercial films before doing ‘Raazi’ but Janhvi is trying to make her mark as a solo performer in the initial days itself. ‘Ulajh’ is being made by the makers who produced ‘Raazi’ as well. This is a golden chance for her to prove herself as an actor. We need to wait and see if Janhvi showcases her acting prowess through ‘Ulajh’ before two big South Indian films get released or not.
