After 14-yr-long hiatus, erstwhile lead heroine Indraja is all set to return to Telugu films. She is playing a pivotal role in upcoming Telugu film Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, produced by Sai Korrapati. She will be seen as a mother to hero Naga Shaurya and wife to Ajay in the film. At first Indraja was reluctant and refused to play mother role but only after persisting effort from  first-time director Srikoti and producer, she is back on board.

Not many know that Indraja was Telugu girl brought up in Chennai. She acted in hit films like Yamaleela, Jagadeka Veerudu etc and her last Telugu film was Sammakka Sarakka in 2000. Since then, she has been missing in action in Telugu and after 14 years, she is set for comeback.
