Whether some of you may agree or not, the fact and truth remains that the forced bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has resulted in nothing but losses to both the states. The worst hit is Hyderabad whose brand fell alarmingly low. Though the leaders claim to make this city a world class place, here are few reasons why their statement can be trashed.

First blow is in the form of tax revenues. Telangana would witness massive erosion in its income and this inturn would result in lack of enough financial resources to develop infrastructure. Without infrastructure, there is no scope for attracting industrial and business investments.

According to unofficial reports, nearly 3000 dealers, business houses, trading houses are already in the process of shifting their base to Andhra Pradesh. While some are extremely hurt with the way they are being treated, others are going there due to the various sops and the possible special status for AP which is expected. Last but the most important, the Power situation alone is enough to hit the final nail on the coffin and keep the new investments away. So, let’s embrace the reality but hope that the government comes up with a miracle to prove us wrong.
