Yet again, Congress, TDP and TRS, BJP and YSRC has made tall promises to offer CM’s seat to to a BC, Muslim or Dalit person in Telangana (with 80% of the population belonging to backward and lower-caste people) but will they stick to their promise to cause a social engineering or will they gift the seat to a upper or forward caste leader after the elections. ‘Its money and muscle power that determines a win in the election and whoever has spent huge sums and influenced voters, who stake his or her claim to the top seat and again BC’s have to wait in silence, even though are majority in number’ says a political analyst.
When states like UP, Bihar brought in Mayawati, Mulayam or Lalu Prasad Yadav, why can’t a Dalit or Yadav or Goud or a Muslim become CM of Telangana (one of the most backward regions) to fight for the upliftment of lives by sidelining the minor upper caste and forward caste leaders. Otherwise, voters should vote for candidates who offer good schemes backed with development vision to change their fate of their lives. Will this election be any different?
