Recently, a group of students from Annapurna International School of Film and media were preparing to do a documentary on the ongoing Ganesh festival and the Pandals.
It is heard that when they reached a certain area in Hyderabad, few people who looked like a group of a political party approached the students and asked which region they are from. When they revealed that they were students of Annapurna school they were asked to leave immediately and not allowed to shoot. The students had to walk away but it was a rather disappointing thing to see such things happening.
