Did you remember the Anajpur village adjacent to popular film shooting destination Ramoji Film City. It is the same village that has obstructed the shooting of Rajamouli’s Baahubali sometime back saying that the unit hasn’t took permission from Gram Panchyat. This village is now bearing trouble for Superstar Rajnikanth too.

For his latest movie ‘Lingaa’, Rajni is busy shooting at Anajpur and other nearby places. When the unit under K S Ravikumar’s direction is filming a sequence at a lake in the village, locals have obstructed for the shoot saying that Lingaa unit is discharging some chemical wastes into the drinking water lake. Before disrupting the shoot, villagers have warned the team to not continue. However, Lingaa unit is saying that they have obtained permission to shoot beside lake from both irrigation officials and Gram Panchyat. Currently some middlemen are trying to solve the whole issue and put shoot back on track.

Lingaa is an upcoming Rajnikanth starrer, a period drama more precisely, featuring Anushka, Sonakshi Sinha, Jagapathi Babu and others. K S Ravikumar is wielding the megaphone while AR Rahman will jump onboard very soon to score music.
