Got First Film As A Nepo Kid But ?- Prithviraj

Posted : March 24, 2024 at 9:02 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Prithviraj Sukumaran, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema, is currently engaged in promoting his upcoming film, “The Goat Life.” Promotional activities inevitably led to discussions surrounding the term “nepo kid,” a label often used critically to describe actors from film families.

Prithviraj addressed this topic with refreshing transparency. He readily acknowledged his background, stating, “Yes, I am a nepo kid.” He admits his debut film, “Nandanam” (2002), came about with the help of his father, Sukumaran, a respected producer and actor. However, he emphasizes that family connections offer merely an initial stepping stone. “The industry gave me that first opportunity,” he says, “but it’s my talent that has kept me going for all these years.”

Prithviraj’s perspective is insightful. Numerous actors with film family backgrounds struggle to maintain successful careers. His own trajectory serves as a compelling example. Prithviraj has transcended the “nepo kid” label, establishing himself not only as a celebrated actor but also as a director, producer, and distributor. This multifaceted career path is a testament to his diverse talents and unwavering dedication.

“The Goat Life,” co-produced by Prithviraj himself, has garnered significant anticipation. Written and directed by Blessy, with the musical genius of A.R. Rahman at the helm, the film promises a captivating survival drama. Starring Prithviraj and Amala Paul, the film transcends language barriers, releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, further solidifying Prithviraj’s position as a pan-Indian actor.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s story transcends the limitations of a film family background. By embracing hard work and honing his talents, he has carved a unique space for himself in the Indian film industry. As he embarks on new creative ventures like “The Goat Life,” Prithviraj’s journey continues to inspire aspiring actors and filmmakers.

Thaman Becomes A Target Once Again!

Posted : March 27, 2024 at 9:09 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

The highly anticipated song “Jaragandi” from the upcoming film “Game Changer” has generated a divided response from fans and music lovers within hours of its release.

A significant portion of the audience feels that “Jaragandi” falls short of expectations. Comparisons are being drawn to the song “Rama Loves Sita” from “Vinaya Vidheya Rama,” featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, which is perceived as a superior composition.

Choreography by Prabhudeva, known for his innovative style, is also facing criticism. Some viewers believe his work with Ram Charan, a talented dancer, could have been more groundbreaking.

This disappointment extends to Thaman, the music composer. Recent projects like “Guntur Karam” have seen him face similar criticism, particularly with the song “Oh Baby.” Even the chart-topping “Kurchini Madthapetti” faced initial trolling before gaining popularity. Some fans point out Thaman’s admiration for director Shankar, who gave him his acting debut in “Boys,” and express a belief that Thaman would deliver his career-best work for this collaboration. However, the reception for “Jaragandi” suggests otherwise.

The inclusion of renowned singer Daler Mehendi’s vocals is another point of contention. Listeners claim his voice is not suited for the song.

Overall, many viewers consider “Jaragandi” to be a subpar number, particularly criticizing the lyrics, with the Tamil version receiving even harsher criticism. While some acknowledge the possibility of the song growing on listeners over time, the initial reception is undeniably lukewarm.

While the initial response is negative, some listeners caution against judging Thaman’s work based on a single song.

However, the prevailing sentiment emphasizes the importance of strong first impressions, particularly for promotional content like songs, to generate positive buzz for the film.

It remains to be seen if “Jaragandi” will grow on audiences or if these critical reactions will dampen anticipation for “Game Changer.”
