Ahead of GHMC elections, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has shifted his focus on the development of Hyderabad. As part of it, KCR said that the Telangana government is ready to shell out Rs 100 Crore for cleaning Hussai Sagar. At the same time, he said the government is going to constitute a high-level committee with Chief Secretary as its head to “Clean” Hussain Sagar and “Develop” Hussain Sagar.
Within the Rs 100 Crore budget, Rs 40 Crore would be spent only on bulding skyscrapers around Hussain Sagar. KCR said that the works of constructing skyscrapers would be made on war footing basis.
