Romancing Onscreen Is Not Easy: Anupama

Posted : March 26, 2024 at 1:34 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

Anupama Parameswaran, the Kerala-born actress widely recognized for her sweet and innocent persona established in films like “Premam,” is embarking on a conscious image shift. In recent years, Parameswaran has actively sought out roles that challenge this perception.

This pursuit of artistic evolution led her to projects like “Rowdy Boys,” where she surprised audiences with intimate scenes opposite co-star Ashish Reddy. While this departure from her usual roles divided fans, Parameswaran has taken a bolder step with her upcoming film, “Tillu Square.”

“Tillu Square,” the much-awaited sequel to the blockbuster “DJ Tillu,” has generated significant buzz with its promotional material. Trailers, teasers, and songs all point towards a glamorous portrayal of Parameswaran, a stark contrast to her previous roles. She appears in trendy outfits and shares sizzling chemistry with co-star Siddu Jonnalagadda, sparking conversation and anticipation.

In a recent press meet, Parameswaran addressed her decision to embrace more challenging roles, citing it as the primary motivation behind “Tillu Square.” She expressed immense respect for the film’s crew and acknowledged the difficulty of performing romantic scenes in front of a large audience. The actress emphasized the demanding nature of embodying a character under such circumstances.

The undeniable chemistry between Parameswaran and Jonnalagadda has become a central talking point surrounding the film. Audiences eagerly await the release of “Tillu Square” on March 29th to witness this on-screen dynamic come to life.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the sequel reunites the core team behind “DJ Tillu.” Mallik Ram returns to the director’s chair, while actors Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran reprise their lead roles.

The technical team remains largely unchanged, with Sai Prakash Ummadisingu handling cinematography, Navin Nooli on editing duties, and AS Prakash as the art director. Notably, Jonnalagadda himself penned the screenplay for “Tillu Square,” further amplifying his creative contribution to the project. Bheems Ceciroleo provides the film’s musical score.
