Will Trivikram & Vijay Deverakonda Work Together Now?

Posted : April 19, 2024 at 5:47 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

There is no clarity on star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas’ upcoming film. After ‘Guntur Karam’, the ‘Athadu’ maker was supposed to work with Allu Arjun and the project was officially announced as well. But the Icon Star is expected to work with Atlee after wrapping up ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. Apparently, Trivikram has a ‘Plan B’ if things don’t work out with Bunny.

As per sources, he is planning to make a movie with either Vijay Deverakonda or Nani. The combination with either hero will be quite refreshing as Trivikram has been repeating his heroes a lot over the past decade. But insiders suggest that Trivikram and Vijay Deverakonda should have worked together a lot earlier. As per reports, Trivikram narrated a story with Vijay after ‘World Famous Lover’. It was almost confirmed but ‘Liger’ came in the middle.

Trivikram made slight changes to it and made the movie with Allu Arjun. It is ‘Ala Vaikunthapurmalo’. Apparently, Vijay was supposed to work with Trivikram once again. The ‘Arjun Reddy’ hero okayed the story but the problem arrived with the production house. While Vijay is committed to a particular producer, Trivikram works only under Haarika & Hassine Creations. Trivikram took that story and started a movie with Trivikram but it got halted midway. The star director came up with a new story for Mahesh and made ‘Guntur Karam’.

If things go as planned, Trivikram and Vijay Deverakonda may get lucky the 3rd time. Let us wait and see if it happens or not.

MHC Gives A Strong Counter To Ilayaraaja’s Argument!

Posted : April 25, 2024 at 10:40 pm IST by ManaTeluguMovies

In the case revolving around musical maestro Ilayaraaja and ‘Echo’ music company, the Madras High Court observed that the legendary composer cannot claim that he is the sole creator of a song as lyrics are also a part of it. ‘Echo’ company challenged the single judge order which recognised the special right for the composer over his 4500 songs.

Justice R Mahadevan and Justice Mohammed Shaffiq has heard the appeal of Echo as their representative Senior Counsel Vijay Narayan stated that a composer will not have rights if he takes money for his work from the producer and the ownership belongs to the producer. He cited section 17 of Copyrights Act.

As per reports, Ilayaraja has composed the music notes and he owns them but the performance, lyrics, sound and other aspects belongs to the producer who owns those songs. Ilayaraja’s representative Sathish Parasaran stated that music rights continue with the music director without agreement and presented sections 13 & 15 of the Copyrights Act.

Detailed appeal regarding this will be heard by the court in the second week of June. The counsel said that Sony Music too approached Bombay High Court asking to restrain the great composer from performing his tunes.
