Anirudh Ravichander, who is the top music director in Kollywood, had a forgettable debut in Tollywood with Agnyathavasi.
Even worse is he got replaced by Thaman for Aravinda Sametha after being announced as the music director at the movie’s launch.
Frankly speaking, Anirudh has done a fairly decent job as music director for Agnyathavasi. Two of the songs were instant chartbusters, but the music was not remembered for long due to the utter failure of the film.
Sadly, Anirudh also had to take the blame for Trivikram’s failure as writer and director.
He got the rough deal from team Aravinda Sametha as everyone besides Trivikram wanted Anirudh out of the project.
However, Harika Hassine Creations didn’t take back the advance paid to him for Aravinda Sametha. So they are now roping him for one of their upcoming films according to the buzz.
Anirudh is likely to be the music director for Nani’s upcoming film Jersey bankrolled by Naga Vamsi.
This could be the right film for Anirudh to make a mark in Tollywood as his kind of music suits to films like Jersey than big ticket potboilers like Agnyathavasi.
