The AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s so called decision for land pooling may be resulting in a violent clash of communities clash once again in AP. There are reports that Naidu may acquire land forcibly from the farmers in case they don’t give it voluntarily. There are speculations that this decision has been taken only to hit hard at the Reddy community that enjoyed power for the last decade in AP.
The land close to Mangalagiri village and the adjoining villages such as Tadepalli, Atmakuru, Kunchanapalli, Kaza, Namburu, Venkatreddy Palem, Pedakakani and Mellampudi are reportedly dominated by Reddy community farmers. The farmers here are of the view that Naidu is targeting them intentionally.
The farmers recently questioned Naidu’s minister when he was persuading the farmers to part with their land. They have asked him to do the same with villages such as Yadlapadu, Mandadam, Duggirala, Venkatayyapalem and Amaravathi that is dominated by the Kammas. Before this issue gets bigger, it is better Naidu comes up with a proper solution.
