Narasaraopet TDP Lok Sabha candidate Rayapati Sambasiva Rao was attacked by his rivals-YSR Congress activists. When Rayapati was overseeing polling pattern in his constituency, the untoward incident took place. According to reports, YSRC party workers attacked Rayapati’s car and damaged it severely. Rayapati, who was in the car, suffered injuries. Fortunately, he escaped major injuries by hiding inside the car for a while.

Rayapati expressed his deep anguish over the incident. He alleged that YSR Congress is resorting to evil practices and said that special conditions are prevailing in the State. However, he hoped that people would take wise decision.
