Actress Nikita who shifted her base from Telugu to Kannada was banned three months ago from the Kannada film industry for her alleged affair with the co-star, Darshan. And now she is making a comeback in Sandalwood. That too with a movie starring Darshan. The movie is reportedly a period film.

“I really had to live my character. From the tiniest details like the kind of kumkum and alta, to my mannerisms, it has been an exciting journey. Right from the beginning, the entire team of the film was thrilled about doing a historical. Also, the controversy that Darshanji and I got embroiled in in our personal lives made the team grow stronger as a family, ensuring we worked harder.” The actress added.

She also added that “My equation with Darshanji hasn’t changed. We remain friends, just as we used to be. He’s helped me a lot, especially for this film, since the dialogues were in old Kannada. We’ve worked on three films together and I do respect him a lot,” she states.
