In what can be a huge advantage to AP State government, Central Water Commission (CWC) chairman S Masood Husain has stated that he and his team are satisfied with the works of Polavaram National Irrigation Project.Masood along with his team have inspected the Polavaram works in Andhra Pradesh. The team personally visited Paidipaka village.

After doing thorough check on the quality of works related to Polavaram Irrigation Project, Masood Committee has given a detailed and substantial report that vindicates AP state government. The committee said that the Polavaram works by Navayuga Constructions are satisfactory.

It said that the spill way concerete works have increased from 1700 cubic metres to 3000 cubic metres. The committee also observed that the works of Spill Way, Spill Channel have picked up the pace.AP state government is going to present the Masood committee report shortly. The report comes as a big relief to TDP after allegations of Pawan Kalyan, Jagan and BJP against Naidu, Polavaram proved to be wrong, cooked up.
