In the last 2 months we have seen so much of buzz in the media regarding Mani Ratnam’s next, a multistarer film with Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna. But now the project seem to be cancelled.

Mani Ratnam worked so much on this film. Even the casting and locations scouting is also complete but the project is cancelled due to reasons best known to the ace director.

In an interview, Nagarjuna himself confirmed this,”Yes, I have okayed a script by Mani Ratnam. But he called me recently and told the project is cancelled”. This is not the first time Mani Ratnam cancelling a project. Earlier he also planned a historic movie with Mahesh Babu and it was shelved even before the start.

Nagarjuna is currently busy in the release of Manam and Mahesh on the other side is busy with Aagadu. Mani Ratnam who was once a top director is currently in deep trouble with all his films faring very badly at the box office.
