All the time Amir Khan brushes with controversies through his films but now he invited trouble through his acclaimed TV show ‘Satyameva Jayathe’. Calling Amir’s acts as contempt of Court, a Chandigarh based lawyer has now filed a case on the leading Bollywood hero for which he needs to give an explanation by December 19th.

Recently Amir Khan’s Satyameva Jayithe focused on the lifestyle and rights of eunuchs, gays and lesbians. This October 19th episode saw Amir Khan pleading for amendments in Article 377 of IPC which makes homosexuality a punishable offense. Creating a hullaballoo over this, Chandigarh based Mandeep Kaur has now filed petition on Amir Khan that he violated recent Supreme Court ruling that supported Article 377. Reacting on her petition, Court directed Amir to respond by Dec 19th and we have to see what the actor says.
