After trading series of unparliamentarily accusations in the assembly, both ruling party and opposition got stunned with the truce offered by opposition leader, YS Jagan. Killings of various leaders including Vangaveeti Ranga and Paritala Ravi got doused in political color with Jagan and his men sounding different on different times.
With AP Government re-opening case of TDP leader Paritala Ravi’s brutal day light murder, as TDP MLAs accused of the then YSR led Congress government’s involvement in the killing, YSR Congress has in return blamed Telugudesam’s hand in Vangaveeti Ranga’s murder. From the minute TDP MLAs started explaining about how many innocent and crucial cycle-walas lost their lives in these faction killings, YSRC’s henchmen adhered to launching harsh attack on ruling party in connection with Ranga’s killing. Offering a truce, Jagan has finally said, ‘I’ll ask our men to desert Ranga’s issue, could you ask your MLAs to leave Paritala Ravi’s case?’
It is ironical that Jagan himself has raked up this debate of political-conspiracy behind killings of cadres and now he himself is calling shots to cool down the tirade. Seems like he felt accusations and discussions are not favoring him in any way.
