Lady director Nandini Reddy, who is going through lean phase after her last film Jabardasth bombed at Box Office, has a reason to smile. Her splashy debut Ala Modalaindi is likely to be remade in Hindi as a leading production house in Bollywood showed up its interest to reproduce it.

According to reports, a top production house in B-town has approached producer Damodar Prasad to team up with him and discussions are going on. Buzz is that Nandini Reddy would be roped in to recreate the same magic in Hindi. However, there is no clue on who is going to reprise the roles of Nani, Nithya Menen in Hindi.

But the big question is will Hindi production house agree to bring Nandini Reddy on board? As Nandini is mired with allegations of copycat as she directly lifted the plot, story of Band Baaja Baraat for her Jabardasth. Let’s wait and see.
