The Ganesh festival is coming to the ending stages with the Nimajjanam happening today. And whenever the fest is on, the one place that all flock to is the Khairatabad Ganesh. People from different cities and states come here to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha as he is considered very powerful.

But today, it is heard that people are eagerly waiting for something else also. Well, it is heard that the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to offer his prayers through the aerial route. Reports suggest he would be showering flowers on the deity through a helicopter. The event is expected to happen anytime soon.

It is known that the Khairatabad Ganesh is the last to be immersed in the Hussain Sagar lake which literally marks the completion of the Nimajjanam process. With KCR getting whatever he wants in the last few years, he would be truly obliged to offer his gratitude to the lord. In the past, it was the late Anjaiah who performed the same act when he was the Chief Minister.
