Telangana CM KCR is getting ready to delight MLAs and MLCs of the state on Diwali. As festival of lights is nearing, KCR is offering Diwali Dhamaka by increasing their salaries twice than what they are getting at present.

KCR feels if the salaries of MLAs and MLCs are doubled then they will not look for alternate sources of earnings to increase their income. Currently MLAs and MLCs are getting 1.2 lakh per month and Government decided to increase it to 2 lakh per month.

Government ordinance will be passed soon regarding salary review.
