Telangana Congress MLC Farooq Hussain accused the TRS Government of ignoring the Muslims in the recent appointments of Public Prosecutors in the Telangana State.
Farooq Hussain said, “Telangana Government has recently appointed 12 Public Prosecutors and 47 Assistant Public Prosecutors. However, not a single Muslim has been appointed as the Public Prosecutor or the APP. At one side the TRS Government has been talking about 12 per cent reservation for Muslims while it has completely ignored the community in direct recruitments. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should direct the officials to provide adequate representation to minorities in direct appointments.”
