Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said today that NDA has agreed to AIIMS level super specialty hospital at Hyderabad.

Union health minister Harshavardhan has written to KCR requesting him to send proposals with three locations of 200 acres each in and around Hyderabad to set up the institute.

KCR told colleagues at a review meeting that the center will fund the entire cost of the AIIMS and also its maintenance with faculty and infrastructure. Center had conceded the demand of Telangana after it raised objection of providing an AIIMS only Andhra Pradesh.
