It is a known fact with one stroke of Telangana decision, Congress high command literally wiped off YSRCP from Telangana region. The party was expected to significantly gain strength in the region with the reported shifting of loyalty by Reddy vote bank from Congress to Jagan.
Now more or less the party is wiped off in the region except for few leaders such as Gattu Ramchandra Rao, Bajireddy Goverdhan and other few leaders of North Telangana. Sources say that these leaders are not resigning anytime from YSRCP. When enquired about this, sources say that there is some interesting information coming out.
Since there is no incoming Aakarsha in Telangana, Jagan has reportedly promised the last batch of leaders staying in the party that he will either allot them tickets in Seemandhra’s stronghold areas or give them MLC seats after 2014 polls.
Jagan also reportedly told them that in case they can get more leaders from Telangana into the party they will also get the same offer including some financial help and good package for future. In Seemandhra, Jagan’s emergence as a strong force looks certain but we have to see if his strategy for Telangana will also work or not.
