Nearly there are twenty TV channels in Telugu right now that cater to the news needs of people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Even at national level, there are not that many channels which broadcast just news. And recently, an international player also entered the Telugu market in a bid to bring change.

What is the worst ever trend Telugu channels follow is that they keep on shaming other competitors in the field. Throwing mud on other media houses is what happens with these so-called happening Telugu news channels. Most surprisingly, this international channel, known for its standards, is also repeating the same.

They are making a mockery of how other media houses are behaving when it comes to gathering news and making stories. While this channel is expected to bring the best of Indian news which audiences are missing, they are simply criticising government left, right and center, and making fun of comments made by ministers and other leaders.

Is it the poor marketing strategy of the channel that is to be accused, or the same age-old grey haired team that worked in almost a dozen existing Telugu channels before joining this venture that is to be blamed? Probably it is for the channel management to decide on this.
