Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao says he has inherited a ‘ganjaya vanam’, (garden of scandals) a corrupt empire after T state was born and it was his priority to cleanse and purify it by eliminating all programs that bred corruption and led looting of public money.
Congress regime (YSR and others) had transformed the state into a den and hub of corruption, malpractices, encroachments and also atrocities, he said and his co-existence with people during 14 years of agitation and earlier political career had helped him to identify priorities of people and work for them.
In an exclusive interview with the T news channel (owned by himself). KCR warned all land encroaches and offenders to surrender the lands and accept their crime or they will be hunted down and that would be jailed.
My long political journey and the years of agitation has taught me lessons and also enlightened me of the plights of poor and innocent people and hence his measures will reflect their aspirations and needs, he said.
