Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known to be a patriot and BJP, which lectures everyone on patriotism is ruling India. However even in these circumstances Kashmir was missing from the Indian map displayed by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), when PM Modi visited the institute.

This triggered vociferous protest from Sujatha Singh, India’s foreign secretary to Australia. Syed Akbaruddin, External Affairs ministry spokesperson, later revealed that the organisers tendered unconditional and unqualified apology after India protested strongly.
