The National Geographic Channel (NGC) will be airing a special documentary on the Hyderabad Metro Rail project next month! The proposed documentary titled ‘Connecting the city of Nizams: Hyderabad Metro’ is being produced by the channel of international repute in association with the L&T Metro Rail Limited, the company that is constructing the 72 kilometers elevated project in the twin-cities.

The documentary will be broadcast on October 19th at 6 pm; and will be part of the highly popular ‘Megastructures’ series on the channel. With this the Hyderabad Metro Rail project will be part of an elite club of projects from world over that have been featured in this series. Many major and structures including the world tallest ‘Burj Kalifa’ are featured in the Megastructures series in the past.

The Hyderabad Metro Rail project is currently doing trail run between Nagole and Uppal stations; and is likely to be ready for public usage by Ugadi next year. Though there are certain hiccups in its progress, the project is come up at a record speed and is likely to set global standards in its league!
