On the day when India turns 71, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left his aura in the air with another charismatic speech addressing the nation at Red Fort. Calling it as a celebration of both historical and cultural heritage, from Sudarshan Chakradhari Mohan to Chakradhari Mohan, Modi remembered the contribution made by men and women for freedom of India.

– The PM finally broke silence on Gorakhpur tragedy where nearly 60 children died in a government hospital due to shortage of oxygen supply. People should stand by the side and support those who were affected in Gorakhpur tragedy, he said.

– Modi considered 2017 as a very special year as it marks 100th anniversary of Champaran Satyagrah, 125th anniversary of Ganesh Utsav and 75th anniversary of quit India movement.

– Quoting the struggle Indians faced from 1942-47 as collective power, Modi stated that same unity and commitment was needed for the next five years. He also urged citizens to be determined about creating new India by 2022.

– Speaking on terrorism aspect Modi said that there will be stern action over it. Speaking on Kashmiri issue, he said neither abuse will solve it nor bullets, but only when we keep our arms open for Kashmiri it will be solved.

– He revealed that 2 cr worth black money was recovered after demonitization. Moreover registration of over 1.75 lakh companies were also cancelled to curb corruption.

– He finally pledged to bring in changes for better India by its 75th I-Day and concluded the speech.
