Poet and Jnanpith awardee C Narayanareddy is my guru, said Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao who is also a post graduate in Telugu literature.

Participating in the 83rd birth day celebrations of Cinare at Ravindra bharati this evening KCR said  that every word coming out of his pen and mouth had transformed into a poem. He also released the book  ‘Ningikegirna Chatlu’ written by Cinare, his 60th book of poems and other writings.

A former Rajya sabha MP in 1997 Reddy won the Jnanpith Award in 1988 for his poetic work,Viswambara. He had been awarded an honorary Kala Prapoorna by Andhra University in 1978, the Padma Shri in 1977, conferred with the Raja-Lakshmi Award by the Sri Raja-Lakshmi Foundation in 1988 and in 1992 he was honoured with India’s third-highest civilian award, the Padma Bhushan.
