Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao has demanded the setting up of a separate tribunal to resolve the Krishna and Godavari rivers involving the four states.
Speaking to reporters after his meeting with Union water sources minister Uma Bharati, the Telagnana minister said that centre should set up high level committee in 3 to 4 weeks to resolve the water sharing for the time being.
He also demanded national project status for the Pranahita-Chevella project and also an immediate grant of Rs.103 crore for for the Devadula lift irrigation project under construction in Telangana.
