Director Teja few days ago sent in a press note that he is going to direct Universal Hero Kamal Hassan very soon. In that press note, Teja said he impressed Kamal with his script and will be producing the film on his own. He even went on to say the film will go on floors after Kamal’s Uttama Villain.

After this news,Telugu media continuously aired programs predicting Teja’s comeback However in the end, it turned up that Teja has fooled the audience and media as well. Kamal Hassan has sent in a press nore rubbishing all these news. “There is no truth in the recent statements stating that I have accepted to do a Telugu film. I am discussing a few things with Telugu directors but I have not signed anything. If I confirm a Telugu film, it will be produced on my Rajkamal International banner”, he said.

So, Teja seemed to have sold a big lie and Kamal hinted that he is a big liar. Kamal Haasan predominantly works in the Tamil industry but he is a star in Tollywood too with various dubbing and direct films. Kamal has worked in several classical Telugu films such as Sagara Sangamam and Swati Mutyam. He was last seen 2009 Telugu film Eenaadu, which was a remake of Hindi blockbuster A Wednesday. The Universal Hero is currently busy wrapping up Tamil comedy-drama Uttama Villain. He is also awaiting the release of his spy thriller Vishwaroopam 2.
