Even top Tollywood actors have been allotting a week for promoting their films so that they gain enough buzz before the release which helps the films get huge openings. The recent releases Yuddham Saranam and Meda Meeda Abbayi are the best examples if the pre-release promotions are ignored. Naga Chaitanya has been emerging as a minimum guarantee actor in Tollywood and his recent movies Premam, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam are the best examples.

The film suffered to get decent openings and the poor word of mouth pushed it into even more troubles. The same is the case with Allari Naresh’s Meda Meeda Abbayi. The film too received poor response from the audience and it has been declared as a debacle. The makers ignored promoting the film and Allari Naresh who has been waiting to bounce back is said to have wait for some more time as Meda Meeda Abbayi has been badly rejected.

Movies like Arjun Reddy and Nene Raju Nene Mantri had a flying start because of the strong promotion tactics. The pre-release promotions are helping the films get decent figures on board atleast during the first weekend despite of getting mixed response from the audience.
