BJP’s Committee To Counter Pawan’s Committee!

It looks like the establishment and emergence of JFC (Joint Fact-Finding Committee) has spawned some disquiet in Bharatiya Janata Party and YSR Congress Party. While the state opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attempted to counter the JFC by daring Pawan Kalyan to convince Babu to introduce no-confidence motion against NDA in Parliament, the state-BJP unit has announced formation of its own committee to review the implementation of poll promises by TDP.

The Committee which will be headed by senior BJP leader Vishnuvardhan Reddy is also expected to conduct a study and prepare a detailed report on the implementation of promises made by Telugu Desam Party in 2014 election manifesto. The key members of this committee include MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju, PNV Madhav and others.

The report by BJP will not just clarify the doubts raised by JFC (Joint Fact-Finding Committee), but also counters it. The state president of party, K Hari Babu asked the members to committee to submit the report in five days and he further said – ‘We will give information to the people of AP by keeping politics aside and we ready to debate with TDP based on this report.’

Earlier on Sunday, the senior party member and MLC Somu Veerraju has released a 9-page booklet to disclose what BJP government has done to the state in last four years. The BJP’s report which is intended to expose TDP government’s failure in implementing the manifesto promises will focus more on Polavaram, corruption charges and misuse of funds in employment guarantee scheme by the Chandrababu government.
