Putting an end to 3 month-long governor rule in Andhra Pradesh, TDP chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has been sworn-in as the first Chief Minister for the new State today in sprawling 70-acre ground outside Acharya Nagarjuna University at Nambur village between Vijayawada and Guntur cities. Babu who served as the CM of undivided AP for 9-long years has been away from power for 10 years. He is now back to the throne.
In a glittering event attended by the creme de la creme of political, entrepreneurs, film celebrities, Governor ESL Narsimhan administered the oath. Babu has sworn-in along with his 19 Cabinet Ministers.
Veering towards Poll-promises, Chandra Babu has set 45-day time for crop loan waiver for taking a final decision. Babu constituted a Committee to study crop loan waiver.
