It is not only farmers but students are also on the suicide lane now days in the country.

On an average 7students were committing suicide every day for failures in examinations, love life and also financial reasons. Most of them were in the age group of 17-22 years and almost 75% were girls and 35% were boys

According to NCRB (national crime records bureau) 2471 students committed suicides in 2014 as against 2246 in 2013 accounting for nearly 6.2 % of the total suicides in the country.
