Strong opposition parties in the state, YSRCP and TDP who are trying their best to topple the ruling Cong Govt hate each other as they are the strong contenders to become alternative to Cong Govt. On many occasions they target each other taking aggressive postures on various issues. However suddenly YSRCP turned staunch supporter of TDP and is issuing statements in favor of its president Chandra Babu Naidu. YSRCP leader and Nellore MP Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy said that TRS party and telananga organisations should not stop or oppose Babu’s padayatra.

This came as surprise for many people and especially to Cong who do not have any strategies to counter these parties. But political analysts feel that YSRCP is supporting Chandra Babu not without any reason. It is a known fact that Jagan’s sister Sharmila also is doing padaayatra and is preparing ground in telangana as she too will soon step into telangana region. As such it is supporting Babu’s yatra so that if TRS and telangana parties in future oppose Sharmila’s tour de telangana, then it could counter them questioning how could they stop Sharmila when they allowed Babu with out any opposition. It has to be seen how TRS reacts to these politics and yatras.
