Now that Municipal Election results are out and they have delivered a shock to YS Jagan big time. The dreams of getting majority seats for YSR Congress (in Seema Andhra) and TRS (in Telangana) got shattered and Telugu Desam Party and Congress were clear winners in both the regions.
Now the big question raised is whether these results reflect the same results of general elections or not. Its absolutely NO !! According to YCP leaders.‘’The results in municipal elections do not indicate that it is a negative vote against YSRCP’’ says the party’s official spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao. The YCP leaders came up with analysis on polling trend and showed below reasons for their defeat in Muncipal elections.
*These results are only opinion of 27% of urban voters .
*YSRCP has great following in rural areas than Urban areas.
*The results of local body elections are generally based on local problems and local issues.
*Congress party in Seemandhra has not contested in many places.Congress leaders favored TDP in some areas.
* As far as general elections are concerned, voters consider the CM candidate’s craze and charisma. YS Jagan is being said more charismatic personality than CBN for now.
*No tie up for TDP with BJP at municipal elections time .The TDP is likely to lose 3% to 5% of muslim votes due to this tie up. This may affect the prospects of the TDP in greater levels.
YSRCP leaders said they are not worried as the results were expected and said that TDP had only five days to rejoice as they would surely lose in the assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Folks..Does they are looking as valid points or simply ‘Covering’ .
