Three blockbuster hits in a row, with more than 10 crore share from box office for last two films, how much that particular hero should charge as his remuneration anyway?

If that’s the question for youngster Raj Tarun, he’s right now charging 1 crore. Actually for these three blockbuster films, Uyyala Jampala, Cinema Choopistava Maava and Kumari 21 F, he charged very reasonably. For the films that are signed later, he took some token advance and confirmed to his producers that he will fix the final pay packet after Sukumar’s film releases. And now, he’s said to be asking for 1 crore.

A director who is producing a film with him, shared off the record, “I thought he will charge somewhere around 30 lakhs maximum. When we asked him he’s charging around 15 lakhs. But 1 crore is a real big deal for Raj Tarun”. Trade experts however say, if the hero is getting nearly 7+ crores share from box office for producers, there is no wrong in paying him 1 crore.
