There were reports earlier last year that Pawan Kalyan had okayed a script narrated by Ragada fame Veeru Potla but the movie did not materialize for some reasons. Pawan Kalyan was reportedly very much impressed with the entertainment quotient of the script. Veeru reportedly made the movie keeping the energy of Pawan Kalyan during Kushi and Gudumba Shankar in mind and now with the project not taking place.

Veeru Potla had approached Naga Chaitanya with the script who readily accepted the project. While there were doubts if Naga Chaitanya will fit in a script tailor made for Pawan Kalyan, Veeru is making few changes to the script for it to suit for Chaitanya. The movie will be produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy under Kamakshi Enterprises banner. The movie will go on to sets in October. More details are awaited.
