One might get puzzled how come an average farer like ‘Govindudu Andarivadele’ will stand chance to win a place when it comes to collections. But Ram Charan’s box office potential is so remarkable that the film might manage a 3rd place in Top 5 list of First Weekend’s highest ‘share’ collection holders.
Currently, the top five slots for World Wide Top Shares for 1st week of release are held by the movies Attarintidi Daredi (47.27 Crores), Yevadu (36.77 Cr), SVSC (33.5 Cr), Race Gurram (33.15 Cr)and Baadshah (32.6 Cr). As per trade circuits, Charan’s Govindudu might amass around 34-35 crores by this Tuesday, which marks the end of first week. Even on first Monday (yesterday – 6th day), GAV has pocketed around 2.6 crores in AP and Telangana alone. In that case, GAV will be registering all time third best opening in Tollywood in terms of worldwide collections.
Only by Wednesday afternoon, we’ll come to know if this holds true or not. Also by looking at the trade graph post Tuesday, it could be guessed whether GAV will be a profitable venture, no-profit-no-loss movie or a flop as it failed to recover budgets.
