The internet revolution has been picking up by leaps and bounds in our country and it must be said that the consumption of the world wide web is much higher when compared to the other countries across the globe. Now, India is seeing a rather significant change in terms of technological infrastructure.
Reports reveal free wi-fi zone has been set up in the famous Connaught Place area in New Delhi. The internet access would be available at a distance of more than 4.5 sq. km. keeping in mind the requirement of the students. Sources say government is doing this as a pilot project.
If this goes through successfully then it is going to be implemented across key public areas across different cities in India. Already, Bangalore Railway station has got wi-fi access so the day is not far when the wi-fi revolution is going to storm our nation in a very big way. This is what we call a true growing India.
