Intense speculations rife that Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing the role of Ram Charan’s father in Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming film Govindudu Andari Vadele. When contacted Jagapathi Babu termed the news as rumour and said he is not playing father in any of his forthcoming films. The latest grapevine is that Malayalam actor Rahman, popularly known as Raghu in Tollywood, has been zeroed in on, to play dad to Charan in this family entertainer.
Known for portraying versatile roles in films such as Bharath Bandh, Dhairyam, Billa, Oosaravelli and Simha, Raghu has carved a niche for himself in Tollywood. Currently, the shooting of Govindudu Andari Vadele is progressing at brisk pace in Hyderabad and after this schedule the unit is expected to leave for Pollachi and Europe to shoot pivotal scenes of the film. Bandla Ganesh is producing the film that also features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Kajal Aggarwal and Kamalini Mukherjee in crucial roles.
