Council Elections in September! Council Elections in September! RBI agrees to reschedule Crop Loans!
Seems like, golden days are ahead for Tollywood as star heroes are asking producers to make films on limited budgets since filmmakers are seeing profits rarely owing to hike in production cost. Learning from past disastrous result with 1 Nenokkadine, Mahesh Babu insisted ‘Aagadu’ makers to wrap up movie within 30 crore budget.
Venkatesh and his elder brother Suresh Babu are on cloud nine with ‘Drishyam’ success as movie budget was said to be Rs 7 crore including promotions and expected to fetch around Rs 20-25 crore profits. The celebrity brothers are working again for the film ‘Gopala Gopala’ that has Power Star Pawan Kalyan portraying Lord Krishna role.
Usually Pawan Kalyan films are made on heavy budgets. (Attarintiki Daredi budget was estimated to be 60 crores, despite it is a family entertainer). Luckily, Suresh Babu and Venky could convince Pawan Kalyan on ‘Gopala Gopala’ budget. Curiously, Pawan Kalyan has also accepted with them to afford huge profits for the producers from day one of release.
Can you guess, what would be the budget of Gopala Gopal? We learnt that the satirical drama directed by Dolly is made on just Rs 12 crore, excluding Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh remunerations.
It would be much better for producers, if star actors cut down their remunerations too!
