The visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the US has not only opened up avenues for development and growth but it also opened the eyes of the several US politicians and the administration which denied him a visa for many years. This was revealed by the words of a US Congressman.
Sharing his thoughts with the Indian media, Aaron Schock, a reputed US Congressman revealed how the US has made a big mistake by not issuing a visa to Narendra Modi in the past. He also reminded how on a Sunday afternoon, more than 30 senators from different parts of the US flew to Madison square garden to meet Modi.
Schock stressed the need for India and US to work together for business and establishing military ties unlike our neighbours such as China, Pakistan etc. He added that Modi has not kept any resentment over his treatment and came forward with a hand to work together which is a highly impressive gesture.
