The bandh call given by Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has hit normal life in Telangana state heavily. Calling that Polavaram Ordinance to merge the 7 mandals that face submerging threat into Andhra Pradesh, KCR is breathing fumes at the moment. Though he hasn’t raised this issue when UPA government is in power, the pink-party boss is now making a scene out of it.
The first one to get affected heavily is Akkineni family’s latest movie ‘Manam’, which is having a dream run at box office. Already Manam collected around 18 crores from box office and its performance is exceptional in Telangana region. But with KCR’s bandh call, movie theatres are shut for morning and matinee shows, with some theatres still unsure whether they could run a first-show or not.
Even though KCR is the CM-in-line and already enjoying the Z+ category convoy of a Chief Minister, the TRS leader claimed that he is yet to take oath as CM and hence he will go ahead with his strike. So in the coming days, all blockbuster movies may not have a smooth run in the region with the CM itself calling shots like bandhs. Isn’t it?
