Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma lost his cool on critics for negative reviews on his ‘Ice Cream’movie. Deeply disturbed with the pathetic reviews given for his film Ice Cream director Ram Gopal Varma has written an open letter to media challenging these reviews.Varma used harsh language on the reviewers and vented anger on them.
Quoting the reviewer of a website Varma opined that if that person doesn’t have job in the particular website, he was not even eligible to work as Tea boy in his production unit. He challenged the reviewers to participate with him in a live debate if they have guts.He even went to extent by comparing them with Dogs.
‘’I openly challenge that, if the critic has guts to show negatives of my film, he should come for a debate with me on TV channel. If he doesn’t agree for this, for me he is equivalent to a dog barking in dark.Rather barking in the dark, they should come out for an open debate to explain how I should have made Ice Cream’, said Varma.
While one section is serious over his allegations, others say it as another business strategy of RGV to sell his movie. Many media houses wondered with the filth language used by RGV and planning to extend non-co-operation for his next films. It is the same media, critics and reviewers who publicized RGV as the intellectual director of Indian cinema.
This is truly an unfair, unethical and dishonest move from RGV which should not be spared. Rather than spitting venom by releasing a letter against reviewers, RGV should concentrate on penning meaningful scripts.
