Telugu pop singer Smitha who from a few days is batting for BJP government’s ruling at the centre, has finally come out with the video she is talking about. Once upon a time this hot lady grabbed attention with her romantic numbers and crazy remixes, let us see what is she up to now with ‘Wake Up India’ song
Shot very simply in a modest budget, the song talks about the sufferings of Indians since the nation’s independence. And Smitha used the best of satires on Indians, especially the words said (published as said) by Winston Churchil that Indians are not fit for ruling themselves. The video opens with an voice over saying that our people are making those words true these days, and Smitha’s starts her emotional singing with the lines “60 Yella arachakam.. swatantram antey.. ganulu dochukovadama ganatantramantey…”
Though the song kick starts with fire, it suddenly lays emphasis on electing Narendra Modi as PM of country by looking at the development in Gujarat. Smitha failed to explain why NaMo is the best choice inorder to address all the problems addressed by her in the first few lines of the video. Is development in Gujarat itself is enough to rule the whole country, is what some critics ask. But anyway, Smitha has done a good job.
