BJP national leader Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday accused TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao of issuing provocative statements.
Javedkar said, “KCR is trying to exploit the regional feelings by making objectionable statements against Seemandhra people. KCR has described Seemandhra people as “Rakshasulu”. I strongly condemn KCR’s alleged warning that Seemandhra people will be chased away from Telangana. KCR should realise that Telangana and Seemandhra are part of India and they are not in Pakistan. KCR is afraid of facing a defeat due to BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narender Modi. KCR should clarify as to why he is not criticising the Congress party.”
He also informed that Narendra Modi would participate in the election campaign in Seemandhra region from April 30. Modi, along with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and cine star Pawan Kalyan, would address a series of meetings in Seemandhra region on Thursday. He also informed that former Union Minister Kavuri Sambashiva Rao would join the BJP in the presence of Modi at Bhimavaram.
