The ugly rift between the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is getting bigger and wider day by day. Taking this to new high, AP Chief Secretary has lodged a serious complaint with Ministry of Home Affairs against Telangana government. AP CS Mr. IYR Krishna Rao has met Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami on Friday in New Delhi and accused Telangana government of harassing IAS officers belonging to Andhra Pradesh with the “intention” of “encroaching” institutions and funds of United Andhra Pradesh.
It is reliably learnt that Krishna Rao had narrated instances to Anil Goswari where officers like Chandana Khan, B Sam Bob and B Ramanjaneyulu, as well as state level officers like Murali Sagar and Rama Rao, were subjected to such “ill” treatment by the Telangana government. Krishna Rao told him that special chief secretary Chandana Khan was not allowed to enter the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in Hyderabad recently on the grounds that she was working for Andhra Pradesh government and was made to wait outside the gate in the most humiliating way. Another senior officer, Sam Bob, was refused entry into the National Academy of Construction (NAC) by the police despite having a clear Government Order to take over as its director general, shared AP CS Krishna Rao.
That’s not all. Krishna Rao accused Telangana government of using its police force against AP Babus to “take over” the institutions of combined state.
